Nicky Ransom
Over the last few
years, my work has been concerned with the marks we leave behind us as
we journey through our lives: the imprints and traces that show where we
have been. Sometimes, these marks are obvious, such as pathways or
footprints, but some traces are more difficult to see, and the only
evidence may be a broken twig on the ground or the waft of perfume in
the air. I use these marks and traces as a starting point for my work.
