Ewa Exley
I often work with hand made felt as I
enjoy the versatility of this medium. Also the primitive nature of this
type of textile forms links with feltmakers of past generations, and a
sense of past time is a recurring idea in my work, as is a fascination
with animal forms - both for their elegance, and the symbolic power they
have acquired over thousands of years.
